We started in Malda in 2018
We started LoanMalda after seeing too many friends, neighbours, and family members get turned away by banks — sometimes unfairly, sometimes because they approached the wrong bank for their profile, and sometimes just because they didn't have the right documents ready.
We thought: someone local, who knows the banks in Malda, who speaks Bengali and understands the financial situation of people here — could make a real difference. So we started doing exactly that.
Over six years, we've helped over 5,000 people in Malda find the right loan. Some got personal loans from HDFC within two days. Some got Mudra loans from UCO Bank for their small businesses. Some were advised against taking a loan at all — because sometimes that's the honest answer.
